i'm at heathrow in london. my flight here was super. the whole row to myself. although i didn't sleep because the movies were too good, so now i have to shop for 10 hours at heathrow (but the valentino store is outta my price range whether or not it's duty free).

the weekend in dc was awesome, thanks to all of you who partied it up with me. here's my favorite moment: front page, 2:30 a.m. man is shaking his ass, next to the bar, not near any semblance of a dance floor. i decide to complement his skills. "excuse me, we just wanted to tell you that we've been admiring your bootyshaking skills, you truly do dance with your ass." him: "that's cuz i'm latin baby! let's dance!" yikes...

i'm in london for the next 8 hours or so. then my 11.5 hour flight to cape town. i pray to god that my baggage made it.

leaving tomorrow

tomorrow i leave. but not for africa, for dc. monday i leave for africa. wednesday i get there. i will be incommunicado from monday til ummmm, june 18? basically that means don't call me. but email will be up and running as soon as possible.

I'm nervous. i don't know where i'm living, who i'm living with, what i'm doing?!

stressing about packing, are things gonna get lost, stolen? will i have enough? will i have too much? Ack!!
